BPC-157

BPC-157, short for Body Protection Compound-157 is a penta-decapeptide composed of 15 amino acids. It is a partial sequence derived from the body protection compound which can be found in human gastric juice. Research shows that BPC-157 accelerates the healing of many different types of tissue like tendons, muscles, ligaments, skin, and the nervous system by significantly accelerating reticulin, collagen formation, and angiogenesis and stimulating macrophages and fibroblast infiltration. This shows that BPC-157 is a potentially very effective therapeutic tool in wound healing management. Research also indicates that BPC-157 has anti-inflammatory and cytoprotective properties. Additionally, BPC 157 has been shown to protect organs and aid in the prevention of gastric ulcers. BPC-157 acts systemically in the digestive tract to combat leaky gut, IBS, gastrointestinal cramps, and Crohn’s disease. This peptide has also been known to exhibit analgesic characteristics.
